Composer

For 25 years James has been composing, performing, and producing award winning music for television.

Projects include Global National News with a million daily viewers. James works in a creative relationship with senior executives to compose and produce music for their flagship news program.

In addition, he has composed for countless international independent productions. He has received 5 SOCAN awards and one PROMAX award.

Singer/Songwriter Producer

James has produced over 4,000 songs for independent artists. The work included recording, arranging, and performing all instrumental parts as well as coaching clients on song writing, lyric writing, and vocals.

Performer

James’s lifetime of live performance has ranged from a multi-instrumental solo act in intimate venues to playing guitar with Canadian rock bands Chilliwack and Prism in concert stadiums to crowds of up to 40,000.

Educator

James taught music production at the Vancouver Film school and the Pacific Audio-Visual Institute and has extensive experience teaching music to individual performers.
